Bill, strange you should say that ... I bought Midland when I saw a news release in Sept 1997 after only been trading and doing dd for three months. I followed it over to CSCA and CNHH of course these stocks have been plagued with real world evil & greed. I was reluctant about buying this stock in November but in January I decide to go back to my principals. Certain stocks has folks that do care about shareholders and refuse to bow to the evil in this market. But it is not Duke but Mark Pierce that I wound up following. He is the one that is responsible for doing everything on Midland and so forth. Now Mark has a civil suit against him by the SEC. But Mark has always been a solid honest man and will and does follow the rules of the SEC. Midland I do not think I was in a fully reporting company. As I have grown in DD and knowledge I now like only fully reporting companies for long term and non for quick money. I have not seen Mark for a over a year till this last Friday at the CBQI shareholder meeting. LOL .. he was funny as heck ... He thought it was too funny these guys tried to blackmail him with the SEC to get him to comply to their increasing demands. Got to love the guy. He is also one of the sharpest attorneys I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He feels bad that I took such a killing and assassination but that is the market and no one can predict the evil and how they are going to play in the market. What he has taught me is to not take a bunch of BULL! That is why I asked Mike Sherriff if he was going and of course he would not tell me but he said he was going to spin off once the CItX deal was closed. So I guess like I have done for nearly 1 1/2 years I will follow suit. One thing about MP stocks they are definitely not boring at all. Matter of fact you will learn a heck of a lot owning them.
