Remember the metal issues and then the good old 2.0 level not opening Poly Stringers too. It was on the 7 mask that Randal bet the farm. And the first lot to probe did great, scrapped all of those wafers and when it hit Test bombed. But you are right we did go to 7. 7 comes 11 in reverse. TAL is a good person beyond his contributions; and he is not done either. Learned a lot in my stay south too. More than most. Have been a nice clean person ever since. Nothing to be ashamed of there; but would not want a repeat either.
