The furor behind VoIP is just the hype before facts. As you probably know this is what happened about five or six years ago with xDSL technologies. Don't get me wrong, I think VoIP has a very strong future, but it's probably at least five years away. I still think CSCO will be a leader in VoIP when it does finally arrive. I find it a little uncomfortable at times, when Chambers currently puts so much empahsis on it.

Following is some more news that should help the circuit-switched voice over cable players.
