THIS WEEKEND EXPLAINED-PLEASE READ:

Received this note via EMAIL this morning. (I will let the author of the note claim credit for it later.)

"It appears our three days of bashing has a common source, a gentleman by the name of Merle Goertz. Merle used to help Dave DiRicco promote NPEC and has access to some of the names that he and Dave used to call on. Apparently he called at least one of the investors (perhaps more) and really spooked them regarding MDIN.

Here are some of the things that can be attributed to him. Merle told this investor in NPEC that MDIN is most probably a scam. He said Mike Gold is the promoter (but nothing can be used to prove that). He also said that the people who are working this scam (MDIN) with him are hired by Mike Gold and not the company so you can't ever prove anything. Merle is also the "IR" source of drilling is stopped until July and that there will be bad news on MDIN this week.

It turns out this investor in NPEC that got the information from Merle and in an effort to warn others and get advice from friends he passed it along to some privately. Before you know it we've got several "bashers" on our thread. I know at least two of them got their information from the investor that got his information from Merle. It just so happens that they're all from Vancouver.

Now the question still remains why would Merle who doesn't work for MDIN tell an NPEC investor that MDIN is most probably a scam, etc.

Given this all happened after last Thursday's news release I can think of only three reasons.

1. Merle is short MDIN and needs to cover.
2. Merle is working for someone who's short MDIN and needs to cover.
3. Merle really believes it's a scam and is trying to help someone.

Given what I know about the situation I suggest we through out number 3. That leaves us with 1 or 2. Either one is fine by me because whichever it is we're in for one awesome week."
