<< That means that the customer comes to expect delivery of machines where they are expected, when they are expected and pre-loaded with the customer's software. Those "virtual integration" benefits save the customer considerable amounts of time and money and thus drive the total cost of ownership way down for corporate customers. >>

Chuzz: You have hit on some key points. Most growth companies with more than a few hundred employees are raising their expectations and DELL is helping to set new standards of performance. Companies really like pre-configured machines to be shipped to the right place at the right time. That is why Iowa's Norwest Mortgage Group recently selected DELL for a customized purchase of over 8000 laptop computers. They had very specific requirements for their national organization. Of course DELL will deliver for them. The new parent company, Wells Fargo, may provide a great new source of business (for DELL) as they seek to cut costs, standardize purchasing and become more efficient.

Best Regards,

Scott
