Chi-X,

I respectfully disagree. I own both AOL and ATHM. I think that AOL should not try to get media one through comcast. The analogy someone else used: "why buy the empire state building if you only want to use the elevator" describes the situation perfectly. Being apart of the team with comcast will not allow AOL access to all the other households that are serviced by other cable providers. To make such a bid is going to cost AOL a pretty penny in stock and probably a sizeable chunk of cash. I think their money will be better spent elsewhere. This may be a blessing not getting use of Media One. I believe they will eventually come to terms on an agreement with ATHM to be able to provide the service to all ATHM customers, a much better risk/reward scenario.
