Man! That news was not what I was looking for today. As I said before, I have too many shares of this puppy... Pooling of interests is a type of acquisition accounting that is more aggresive than its counterpart, purchase accouting. It's fairly common now adays, though it will die soon if the Financial Accounting Standards Board has anything to say about it. I haven't seen too many SEC investigations concerning poolings. Maybe the rest of the telecom sector has overwhelmingly used purchase accounting recently? It's not as big of a deal as SmartTalk's wierd revenue recognition policies, but still I'm betting we're down pretty big when trading resumes barring some miraculous phoenix from the ashes sale of the company during the two week span. At least the halt will free up some of my time from watching DCTC's ticker! ggg Grant
