Integrated Device Closes Quality Semiconductor Buy Dow Jones Newswires SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Integrated Device Technology Inc. (IDTI) completed the acquisition of Quality Semiconductor Inc. (QUAL), Santa Ana, Calif., in a stock swap. As reported Nov. 2, Integrated Device agreed to swap 0.6875 shares for each share of Quality Semiconductor. In a press release Monday, Integrated Device said it expects the acquisition to increase earnings immediately and to have a positive impact in the second quarter. Quality Semiconductor, with 1998 revenue of $60.8 million, makes logic and logic-intensive memory semiconductor products. Integrated Device, with 1998 revenue of $587.1 million, makes semiconductor products.
