All of you who enjoy denouncing one another must find it strange, but I am being consistent with a position I have held for a number of years, not only about intervention, but about Kosovo. I have long argued in certain forums for intervention there. This is not what I had in mind. The fact that I hope it is salvageable should be no surprise, though. That is not wishy- washy. I have been pretty clear about what I would like to see happen, and also where I think the operation went wrong in the first place. Why shouldn't I be at liberty to stake out a position that is not so crude as is common on this thread?
