CNBC interview with CEO Annunziata at noon on Monday May 3rd
went home for lunch to eat and watch... brief but good... Bill Griffith is no technie

called GBLX "the internet darling on a recent acq tear, first with Global Marine and now with Frontier with better than expected earnings just announced"... these guys crack me up... dapper Bob appeared calm and confident, nothing clumsy

GBLX said to be a name to reckon with, building infrastructure for a global network... Bob denied GBLX belief that buying cheaper than building, saying the acq's complement our current building projects... goal is to carry traffic anywhere in the world... advantage is that we own our undersea cables, with debt-cost structure our own... connect US and Europe, and soon SAmerica and Asia... strong need to be global... Bob said in good times people make calls, and in bad times people make calls (smiled)... he is constantly on lookout for new acq's that complement existing structure of the company... talked of greatly increasing worldwide bandwidth needs in next few years, and GBLX will be there and ready

Griffith mentioned President David Lee took as a speaker fee last year some stock that is now worth $1.6m

seemed to me like Griffith thought it more an internet related company with Frontier business... Annunziata stressed telephone nature of company, and really bandwidth supplier

decent publicity, jim willie
(got more at 54-7/8, then more at 56, plenty)
