Hi...Yorkton didn't really buy the stock for themselves..they facilitated a financing and thus owned the shares for a short period of time before re-selling them to 'exempt' buyers...this is how bot deal financings work..clearly they and their clients thought $6.50 was a fair price for illiquid paper...on the Amazon comparison he's trying to say that Amazon is a e-commerce co. that started as a book seller only and now is into various other products and services...to do that they need e-commerce platforms for inventory, billing, credit checks, purchasing, secure transactions etc. etc....this is the business that MCF is in...but instead of being their own retailer/financer..they offer their products/services to others...make sense??
