Hi Linda,

Of course I am disappointed with the price. I truly feel we would have seen the shares much higher this year had this never happened. Look at LSI's price action since February when PHG made their offer, going to 38, while VLSI stayed in a narrow trading range. Based on equal P/S ratios VLSI would have seen 40 (sales of 11.48 vs. 11.06) and even discounting VLSI's historical performance we still would have traded into the 20s near term, and 30s by summer after another quarter of improved business.

We could see a counter offer come public in the next couple days, but not too high a probability as this looks pretty done to me. JB
