Something to think about certainly. Taken from Reuters:

Midday Movers (5/3/99) The Dow has soared to a roughly 100-point gain at midday (est), to 10,892. However, the NASDAQ
Composite is off a few points.

One main reason: Internet stocks came crashing down this morning, after Barron's reported in its 'Up & Down' column that
shares of Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN - news) are worth $25 a share. When its revenue, losses and gross margin are
taken into account, the stock does not look that attractive anymore, wrote columnist Alan Abelson. Barron's reported that the
company will not make any money this quarter due to increasing marketing costs and operating losses. Amazon.com was trading
down $13.22 to $158.84.

Other Internet stocks suffered as a result of Amazon.com's downfall. Priceline.com (NASDAQ:PCLN - news) was leading the
losers, down $7.25 to $155.13 and was trading down as much as $16.38 to $146 in early trading. America Online (NYSE:AOL
- news) was down $5.94 to $136.81 even after being reiterated a 'strong buy' by analyst Scott Reamer at SG Cowen, with a
12-month target price of $265 per share. Yahoo (NASDAQ:YHOO - news) was down $8.81 to $165.88, E*Trade
(NASDAQ:EGRP - news) was down $2.81 to $112.69 while eBay Inc. (NASDAQ:EBAY - news) was trading off $9.13 to
$199.
