Very nice hire. This is a great sign that Go2Net is willing to build the technology needed for the web of the future. It's the best news I've seen of the positive effect of Allen's investment. Years ago, MetaCrawler actually ran on one of the washington.edu servers, so I like that part about "reuniting with MetaCrawler". (Unfortunately, it's yet more bad news for the underfunded university system in WA... but that's another story.)
