Actually, it is quarters like this that prove to me that our market is not as efficient as some studies would indicate. Things like the fact that CNBC can get away with reporting a 1 day rotation into cyclicals. Things like DELL's current price, and the fact that some analysts are actually starting to believe what they are saying about internet stocks. I think it really boils down to analysts not being able to cope with their inability to beat the Market. In fairness to them they often have a lot of risk restrictions that individual traders don't have, but I also think it may in part be due to the fact that many of them are simply not good. Luckily today's current inefficient market climate makes stocks like DELL reasonably cheap. Eventually everybody will come back to a company which is sustaining 38% growth, and eating up it's competitors. Everybody that accumulates now will be richly rewarded IMHO.
