Ray, I sincerely urge you to get your head out of the sand and pay attention to what's going on around you. The announcement of the 300 Mhz Deschutes, and motherboard that will host it, should have an immediate impact on the stock price. Intel has virtually assured the continuation of its dominant position. The freaking motherboard will operate at speeds which, a short while ago, were reserved for the internal furnace of the processor itself.

The bottom-line is that Pentium 200 will replace 100 Mhz chips at the low-end of the spectrum and the ever-increasing need for speed will be satisfied by Intel's 300 Mhz and 400 Mhz offerings shortly after that. In other words, nothing has changed. The so-called, would-be competitors (no, that's not redundant) are right back where they were when this all started, to wit, square one.

I am sure Jonathan will tell you all about the graphics solutions and how this will be the next preemptory sweep and rival graphic chip makers will be left standing at the dock. Remember the fate of the add-on math coprocessor and extend that to every piece of core silicon you can think of.
