AGISS Corporation Announces FY98 Results
OTTAWA, ON, CANADA, May 3 /PRNewswire/ - NASDAQ-OTC: AGCR --AGISS Corporation today announced unaudited results for 1998. Worldwide sales for the year ending March 31, 1999 were $2.81 million with a net loss of $1.067 million versus sales for the year-earlier period of $0.2 million with net loss of $1.0 million. (All figures are in American dollars.)
In making the announcement, CEO Robert Sowah said that sales increased from those of 1997 but not to the projected levels associated with anticipated Year 2000 business opportunities. Mr. Sowah said the management teams at both AGISS Corporation and AGISS Software Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary, are working on a restructuring plan, which will include the reduction of the workforce, to help the profitability of this Company and improve shareholder value.
