Just a thought:

Last week AOL was hit with two strikes. The possibility of purchasing Media One ( at a very high price ), with the purchaser usually declining ( initially ). Second, the issue of broadband, or lack of it if T purchased Media One. This looked like a lose / lose situation.

Now that AOL is out of the Media One Market, they need to announce their position regarding Broadband This issue has put doubt in the market, and that has obviously placed AOL in a soft position.
