MikeM - The stuff that I have been reading from Gartner Group recently confirms your thoughts along these lines. They see the convergence market coming, but think it will arrive more slowly than many seem to believe. They continue to contend that ATM networks will be required to deliver converged networks for the next few years, at least. I received an excellent piece on IP vs. ATM the other day, if there is interest, I'll be happy to post it.
