Mark we do not reunite with anything. We are and never were separate from God. Edward Carpenter has a book named "Pagan creeds" which explains this state very well and our perceptions of it. Do not rely on God or love to make you wealthy. Remember? Seek you first the kingdom, then the other will fall into place. Your stocks couldn't have done much worse than mine as I am in small caps which are dead.
