The bundled Software DVD player is based on an ATI-modified Quadrant core. This is one of the best software players I have seen. Just like the stand-alone Sony DVD players, ATI's DVD Player was capable of crystal clear fast-forward and reverse. No longer do you get flashing images reminiscent of CLV laserdiscs, but instead a viewable 8x time-acceleration perfect for finding the exact spot you are interested in. Nonetheless, it does not match CAV laserdisc navigation. One feature that I would have liked is the Video Desktop feature, which will be covered in greater detail in the Digital TV portion. 3dgaming.com Marc By the way i wonder what's wrong with CUBE management tscn.com
