I think that there is confusion in your mind between being a business partner and a promoter. It is very simple and I hope you understand it:
I will get those shares if, and only if, a deal is made between a telco Co. in Spain and Digitcom. If there is no deal, I lost my invested time and money (flight and stay in Spain, and other costs related to a out of country visit) for that deal to happen. It is completely independent of the share price. A share price of $5 will not bring a deal into fruition more or less than a share price of $1 or a share price of $10, as far as I know...
That does not make me a promoter in the sense you are implying or stating, since my function was to help set up a genuine business deal.
It has never been my job, neither it is my job now, to "promote" this stock.
Trying to "generate business" means to find prospects in the telco business, setting up meetings, trying to find out needs, trying to satisfy those needs with available products and services, selling, following-up etc etc. This has no relationship to selling shares or inducing people to buy shares....I am not in the "share promotion business", I am not in the brokerage business.
By all means re-read my posts from mid-December to the present and show me if I hype the share. Please show me if my posts have mysterious second meanings. LOL, I even posted to McGinnis about my meetings with DGIV officers and officers from another Telco in one of many arguments we had.......among various mentions I made of this...
A last note on this promoter spin of yours..., if you would pay the telephone bills we have to pay here in Lat Am and you would happen to know a Jimmy Chin , you would probably chain him to an airplane and bring him down here on the double and not let him go until he closed a deal. We must be paying between 3 and 10 times more than you people in the USA. That is why 5 or 6 telcos paid 19 billion U$S last July for Telebras. Paraphrasing a certain expression: "It's the monopoly, stupid!"
Back to the fight, it is also a part of your spin, you call me a facist, a mind policeman, a potential "death threaterer", a "embustero", or a promoter. Ok, it's nervous RM. in action.
I have spent little time with your posts these past days since I only posted to you after you tried to put a spin on Howard's daily history lesson. Except for these past days I have had not contact with you publicly or privately since your departure from the thread "back then".
I am sorry to read that you and your family received death threats. I think that is horrible, and people that do that are despicable.
I have the feeling that if I posted a name and not a family name, and you proceed to to write to the effect "that is my real first name, by posting it you have caused me harm ", you are perhaps over-reacting on it and trying to throw stuff on me which has nothing to do with what I post.
OTOH perhaps I should give you the benefit of doubt because I don't know your personal situation and perhaps given your lifestyle, or the quality of life surrounding you, any measure of self protection is not enough. From this point I have to say I am sorry. I wish you had PM'ed me on that, from this specific point of view....I would have immediately edited it
You and I have exchanged e-mails "back then", but since I clean my e-mail folder every month I probably do not have your e-mail address anymore. So, if I have not sent you e-mails since you departed from the thread, I doubt I will be sending you any now.
I think that you did not play a clean hand with your fellow thread members and fellow investors, and I stick to this. You were a thread leader with probably over 2500 proud posts to your name during that 6 month period in the DGIV thread. You must have gotten honorable mentions for your participation in the ICVI-MTEI, and INFE threads too. Only the shadow knows who induced you into those shares....
