The MacOS 8.X and user interface ... no.

Much of Mac OSX *Server* aka "Darwin" and QT Streaming ... yes.

>Darwin is a complete operating system based on the foundation
technologies in Mac OS X Server. It is an advanced BSD Unix system
which offers advanced networking, services such as the Apache web
server, and support for both Macintosh and Unix filesystems. Darwin
runs on Power Macintosh and Intel PC-compatible computers.<

There are persistent stories on AAPL rumor sites that INTC is footing
the bill for AAPL to develop a 64 bit version of OSX for Merced. By
that time, Mac OSX *Client* will be shipping. Whether there's any
truth to the rumor is anyone's guess, but technically it's quite
feasible.

BTW, I'm watching the four new "Phantom Menace" commercial
trailers in full screen letter box and 44mhz stereo. Droooooool.

RNWK's stellar Jukebox announcement notwithstanding, I don't
think one should underestimate Steve Jobs' (PIXR/DIS) deal-making
skills within the entertainment industry.
