Parke-Davis: Lipitor Lowers Cholesterol Levels In
Women

MORRIS PLAINS, N.J. -- A study conducted by Parke-Davis Canada showed women who use
Lipitor, a cholesterol-lowering drug, had LDL cholesterol to target levels.

Parke-Davis Canada is a unit of Warner-Lambert Co.'s (WLA) and Pfizer Inc.'s (PFE) Canadian
units.

In a press release Friday, Parke-Davis said the 16-week, 318-patient study showed that 87% of
women with two or more risk factors for coronary heart disease reached target LDL cholesterol
levels.

In addition, 81% of women with established coronary heart disease reached target LDL cholesterol
levels.

Parke-Davis makes and markets pharmaceutical products.
