I'm sorry, I had to leave for a while. <<After what happened to Duke, maybe people will realize that you must learn how to care for animals.>> It was an accident. We live 1/2 mile from I74. It's cut through a hill so we don't even hear it. Next to I74 is a 180 acre field that is mostly grown up weeds. At the end is a 30 acre bean field. The field is triangular so the end of the bean field is close to I74. Sue always stopped with Duke at the start of the beans so he was 200 yards from the road. These people didn't understand the terrain and went to the end. Duke went under the fence and couldn't find the hole from the other side to get back. Dogs will run a fence and then loop out to find an opening. He looped onto the road.
