CaraMia: Face it, the stock is being depressed because of the internet sector in general. After the huge runups due to takeovers, investors are becoming skeptical that an internet company is worth such a heavy premium as most are getting. Don't forget, Lycos had a runup, itself, before the USAI deal was announced.
Now, deal going through? Terrific long term play on company with real earnings potential and partnerships out the wazoo.
Deal not going through? Expect a jump, though it may not return to previous levels all at once. Then expect possible better-term buyout offers.
In any case, TMCS may be shaky, but it is an internet stock with real long-term potential.
Yes, I do own some. Bought just after the announcement of the deal. Bought at the beginning and traded the stock, but was out before the deal. Oh, and, today, I picked up a few hundred shares. So I'm in... not as big time as some individuals, but I've got some.
