Probably not, the ROI is too low and would lower their earnings. That is why no companies bought Ballard, they just do Joint Ventures so the constant low earnings and losses do not affect the parent company's earnings and stock price. CL Anyone given any thought to a CP or an oil company taking a big interest as leverage against their dependance on Oil and Gas????? I saw CP because they own 87% of Pancanadian -- who are the #2 oil producer and #1 gas producer in Canada - Ther have been reports of them wanting to divest themselves of the commodity based interests.
