HSS is the only publicly traded hotel and car rental representative so no direct comparison can be made to their competition. However there are several companies that offer travel bookings over the internet to other services that make for a good comparison.

UTO on the VSE is very similar to HSS expect it is doing bookings for cruise lines instead of hotels and cars. UTO is giving web customers the ability to complete the transaction and book a cruise on-line with a set price, assurance the inventory is available, and ability to purchase with a credit card.

During the past quarter UTO had revenue of $580,000 (Dec 31, 1999) and lost 0.10/share. They had revenue of $5,100,000 revenue for year ending Dec 31 and lost 0.16/share for the year.

UTO presently has 21 million shares out and a market capital of $168 million. It hit a high of $11.40 with a market capital of $240 million last month.

For comparison sake…HSS market cap was $15 million base on today's amazing close and was had a market capital of $6.5 million based on yesterday's close. Now you know why I thought HSS appeared undervalued.

Best Regards
KEITH
