Perfect--If you get there first, order me an Alfalfa.

Great speaker tonight-- Terry Jones, CIO of Travelocity, on-line travel- associated with Sabre and AMR. He was talking about the future of the internet... it was interesting hearing about it from one of the .coms themselves-- how they were different, how they had to provide a different type of service from 3D. We were at his table and he was also very funny. He did say that there was no way a "real" company responsible for a bottom line could compete with the strange currency dealt in by the AMZNs and YHOOs with their giant market caps and unlimited budgets. But since he also talked a lot about the future BEING online, it made me wonder if it isn't time to rethink my approach to the nutz- take some risk with AMZN or AOL.
He had a chart showing that travel was the biggest sales generator online, books 3rd, gifts 4th, music 7th and clothes last...I think food was in there too somewhere..
If Travelocity spins off, I'll buy it--- I really liked this guy!

(And re: initiation-You won't feel a thing. Trust me.)
