Hi Claude.

I think you may be mixing things up regarding SUF and Marsfontein. The deposit they are currently open pit mining where the grades are dropping with depth is a kimberlite pipe, the M1. If you check into things further on their Website or call the company they will tell you that the fissures they are currrently developing are extremely uniform in grade throughout and and also at depth. Ask to speak directly to Chris Jennings or Kim Freeman. I believe they are out of the country for a while but should be back soon.

Suf is developing 1.1 meter wide fissures which are grading .8 carats per ton with $120/carat diamonds and apparantly can mine then at $25 per ton. This is why WSP is appealing the fissure/dyke is almost 3m wide and the grade and value would appear higher, though still speculative. Mining costs may be higher in NWT but if the rock comes in above $250 US per ton I'm sure it will be OK.

Andy
