Dear Chin: Guess what? I bought a 33.6K Boca Research modem on my new computer on 12/24/96. I live only about 2 miles from the Boca Research facility and I am informed that they will exchange for a "nominal fee" my 33.6 for the 56K but they suggest waiting until standards are set. I am not personally technical in nature but I am thinking of giving them a call and finding out how much that Nominal fee is. Incidentally my Boca modem works fine. jdn
