Jim:

The best classical description of Dow Theory and the one I use is discussed in the Edwards and Magee book. The book is titled "Technical Analysis of Stock Trends." It is also the classical book for charting. It costs about $40 and is available at Amazon.com. Buy it and you can add to AMZN's losses and FDX's profits.

At this point in the move, a confirmation has little meaning. However, it we go into the Dow Theory trend-setting process in a decline, I would not be in long positions.

I have never looked for a site because the book is quite descriptive.
