NVIDIA Tom won't care, but I wonder if Sharky is very embarrassed about the Ultra's specs.

I fired off an email to Sharky asking him about this. His latest comment was that DIMD is shipping at "Nvidia's recommended clock", as if Nvidia is lowering the clock below reliable levels. I asked him if DIMD and NVDA were going to honor warranties on boards which fail due to overclocking or won't overclock at all.

I tried not to sound like some ravenous TDFX junky (which I am since installing my V3), but rather like someone who used to value his opinion.

I'll let you know if I hear back.

I also think $100 ASP is a bit high. I would expect OEM's to get the 2K for ~$65 at most. Less for an 8MB board.
