Monday Dow up 225, NASDAQ off 7. Dow up 225, internets hammered? As we have been discussing for a couple of weeks now, the money is moving. Institutional money is trying to get to the Internet exit before the public does.

Tuesday futures are flat with a bit more than an hour to go. Hong Kong stronger overnight, European markets are mostly slightly higher at this time.

For Day and Level 2 Traders PCLN should be the key NASDAQ of the day as the company reports earnings at the close, finding it hard to believe they could justify the recent explosion. There is some Internet rebounding on Instanet pre-market trading, but I would find jumping in here a bit dangerous, fighting the buy on the dip guys can be dangerous though.
The big story of the day will be the Goldman IPO, symbol GS.

STOCKS

JNJ
CNTO- The rumored takeover of CNTO seems to be true as Johnson & Johnson is talking about a $3 billion deal.

GS- Goldman Sachs IPO comes today, 69 million shares at $53. The stock should rocket on the opening.

PCLN- Dropped 14% Monday in advance of today's earnings release.

ITVU- After the Monday close announced a Q1 loss of (.31), about .11 better than expected. The $558 million company announced revenue of $1.2 million, a 50% sequential rise over Q4.

PPE- CNBC reporting First Boston upgrading to strong buy.

WANG- The company is recommending that shareholders accept a buyout by Getronics at $29 1/4 per share.

TBFC- After the Monday close the company announced Q1 earnings of .12, in line with expectations.

COOL- President and CEO resigns to become Chairman of the Board. Is this what they call being kicked upstairs?

QCOM- Jumped 18 3/8 Monday after Merrill raised earnings estimates.
