Hi Linda, Since I'm "retired", I'll probably take the initial investment and part of the profits and shift those assets to an income producer. Then the remaining profits (after I figure out how much Uncle's getting) will move on to something more exciting.

I did this last year with the proceeds from DIGI being bought out. The timing couldn't have been much better. The extra income helped out nicely when the market tanked last Fall. I never did buy a specific new issue with the remaining $$$, instead, the market absorbed them while AIM and I averaged down on essentially the rest of my portfolio! The negative cash reserves that I've had on the graphs recently were actually DIGI proceeds that I'd thrown into a general cash fund until I found a home for them. Well, AIM and the market found a home before I did! The extra bonus was being able to "borrow" from myself rather than paying interest expense at the brokerage. October proved to be the closest that I've been to 100% invested since October of '87 when I was totally tapped out.

Heading into the "summer slump" period for technology issues with a wad of cash could prove entertaining. I'll have to see if I just add to existing holdings or try something new. Whatever it is, having an active option exchange will be part of the equation - those have been fun. I'm not in any hurry.

For those last 14 contracts I sold as $20s I was paid $0.75, so if they are called at $20, I'm only out a quarter. AIM had been begging me to sell shares for a long time anyway. Right now there's about 9500 shares in my account, I believe. So 1400 will go at $20 and the remainder will go at $21 if I wait it out. I'll have to look at the overall profit picture when I get to the office. I believe we'll be closing this investment out at an all time high water mark.

Best regards, Tom
