An Administrative Note:

Certain contributors to this discussion have the phrase "Coffee Shop" next to their monikers.

This indicates that the person has registered on Silicon Investor, through GNET, for free, instead of paying for a SI membership. They can only post messages on the Coffee Shop threads, which comprise a small part of Silicon Investor.

The reasons why someone would register for free to post on the SI Coffee Shop threads only are:

1. They don't care about the stock market and/or SI enough to pay the fee to join SI.

2. They are current members of SI and do not want their SI identities known, so they are posting under different monikers. [a violation of the Terms of Use on SI]

3. They have had their SI account terminated by SI for violations of the Terms of Use, and rather than pay for a new membership, they wish to post for free.
