Nuinsco Reports Significant New Gold Anomaly in Glacial Tills at Rainy River

TORONTO, ONTARIO--Nuinsco Resources Limited today announced that it has received information from Overburden Drilling Management Limited, of Ottawa, regarding the discovery of a new significant gold anomaly on the Rainy River property, NW Ontario. Since mid-January, this company has been conducting an extensive overburden reverse circulation reconnaissance exploration program for Nuinsco covering parts of several Townships in the Rainy River District. Overburden Drilling reports that the till anomaly is somewhat similar to the 1994 anomaly that led to the discovery of the No. 17 gold Zone in Richardson Township, but its bedrock source is anticipated to be of higher grade. The new anomaly is approximately 4km from the No. 17 Zone and is unrelated to it.

Line cutting crews are on the site and follow-up Reverse Circulation drilling is in progress which will be immediately followed by geophysical surveys and diamond drilling.

Nuinsco is an exploration and development Company whose projects are located in northwestern Ontario. Shares of Nuinsco trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol NWI. U.S. S.E.C. exemption: 12g3-2(b) No. 82-1846.
