Something happened this past week that touched my heart.

As you probably remember our church is on a building program. We need 1/4 million to purchase new land. Last Wed. night in church as a collection was being passed my 8 year old daughter gave me a pledge card that she had filled out and told me to put it in the collection bag. As I looked at it I was stunned. Without even telling me first she had put down a pledge of $100.00.

I thought, gee. Compared to what I pledged a month or so earlier her pledge was a great deal more than mine, when you consider our ability to pay it.

My wife said, well it looks like you will have to pay the pledge for her. I responded. No. That's between she and God. God will have to provide the pledge, for her. : and I know that He will, just as he has already provided my pledge with the exception of the final $200.00.......in Christ.gregor
