I really don't think this is a settle down and trade in a range period. I have seen this with several other of my stocks. News can sometimes be a negative, not because of the news itself but because of the daytraders. If the news is massive, the stock may fly but on other news, the daytraders come in and if they don't get their pop they leave. Combine this with MMs lowering the bid as they sell out and there you go. That is why we have been moving on no news much better than we have on news, IMO. Delayed reactions have become more comonplace lately.
