The 300K initial commitment on phones dates from earlier, and I have always assumed that it was part of the initial commitment needed to entice Q, ericy and telital to contract to make the phones in the first place. They could better justify the commitment to their infrastructure. So, no, I don't expect G* to be involved after the original commitment.

But, I don't see that as being crucial in any case. The company will rise and fall on minutes used. If the original allotments start generating minutes, then the SP's will quickly reorder--from wherever they can get them. If minutes aren't forthcoming then no amount of G* purchases of user terminals will make much difference, I would think.
