The backbone is the Frame Relay/ATM world of the future. Strengths--CSCC. Not just router sales is slowing. The FR sales has been slowing significantly since Q496 (flat) due to a lot of corporates, Telcos and ISPs are moving towards ATM as backbone. unfortunatly, CSCC's stength is in FR not ATM. They are having painful product transition. On the oppsite side. STRM started the similar transition a year earlier than CSCC and now are enjoining the success in ATM sales. Steve
