Hi Patrese,

This is shaping up to be such a fiercely competitive market that I can't understand why AOL would want to be in the Telco business. A minority partner maybe, but at this point the technology is young, standards seem to be all over the place and the actual act of making a PC2Phone call is awkward and frustrating to use for many if not most. This seems it would be a primary focus for AOL. The trend in rates suggests to me this will be one difficult business to remain profitable in.

I am still learning about competitors and their backbones. If AOL were so inclined, there may or may not be cheaper alternatives. I think there may be other areas more beneficial to AOL's core business.

That said, I hope you are right. Even a token investment from AOL would likely be very beneficial for IDTC. Obviously something is going on...hopefully we'll know soon.
