Interactive Sells Web Music Software To Microsoft
SEATTLE (Reuters) - Interactive Objects Inc. (OTC BB:OBJX - news) Tuesday said Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq:MSFT - news) has bought the company's digital audio player technology and is working with the firm on other Internet audio-video broadcast technology.

Interactive Objects' software allows stereo playback on palm-sized devices that use Microsoft's Windows software.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Microsoft's Windows Media Technologies 4.0 software, along with popular MP3 Web music software, compresses data and allows music to be stored on computers and downloaded from the Internet.
