Little Engine, Are you SURE that "acquisition charges" (i.e. goodwill write-offs, etc.) apply to a "pooling of interests?"

Have you asked your CPA about this?

Some expenses that might be involved (i.e. legal, accounting, etc.) would typically be included in ordinary expenses.

But it sounds like you are wanting to include something else as "acquisition charges" when using "pooling of interests."

We don't want anyone to be mislead, so please explain.
