That's my guess as well.

If MMs can pull it down to the lower support level (in this case 3/16), they know they can pick up a few shares and cover some short positions.

But notice the continual upward pressure? Not too many people are selling given the prospects and people are jumping in at the $0.18 -$0.20 range. I certainly am not selling (I've learned that lesson the hard way--selling a great stock just because I was a little impatient, only to have it run up 200-300% shortly thereafter).
