IBM will pay NSM for Cyrix in a range of $2 billion. Take it or leave it.

Stefan, not a chance IBM pays $2B for Cyrix. NSM paid $550M less than 2 years ago, and this business has never been profitable. NSM spent the better part of a year converting Cyrix designs to their own foundry processes. Now, why the heck would IBM be interested in converting them back? Makes zero sense. Sorry. Sell the NSM and buy some poots <g>.

IBM could pay $2B and get all of NSM. They just ned to wait until NSM falls back to 8, which shouldn't be too long <g>.
