Dave- Dell has had two major dead periods in the last 2 years alone (1998 & 1997)..each lasting 5 months...both those years, as you know, Dell appreciated 200+% each year..

So a 4 month "dead" period is not out of the ordinary....and is not, in and of itself, a good indications that the stock will have several "dead" quarter going forward.
