This declaration of "fact", and it's response from MicrocapCC (Spencer Maus) are posted here FYI. I am heartened by the company's IR ability re: riding herd on the wild west of the Internet.

The raw materials cost is fairly insignificant however the actual cost of transportation and collection is higher. It would be impossible for GRNO to collect their own raw material. Most of the oil is automotive. It is usually collected 100-500 gallons per account from auto dealers, service stations, etc. There are hundreds of companies already doing this in virtually every town in the United States. GRNO would need thousands of tank trucks and have to compete with fortune 500 companies such as Safety Kleen and every other company in the US.

CEO-CIT facts may be correct, but the assumptions of strategy are very uninformed. First, according to EPA statistics, there is approximately 1.4 billion gallons US, of the 5.2 billion gallons internationally, of waste oil generated every year. Safety Clean & Evergreen supposedly has had trouble with profitability due to margins. The GRNO strategy is 1) to acquire current domestic collection operations (the 1st being Approved Oil Services of Denver) 2) Sell processors to current collectors and receive royalities 3) Sell internationally. GRNO has no intent of trying to build a collection operation from scratch. GRNO has a process which is revolutionary, and actually might be of value to a Safety Kleen, Evergreen, etc, etc. to own the GRNO processors. These folks may not be competition, the may actually be prospective customers. Keep in mind the profits margins from processing waste oil are MUCH higher than the operations mentioned by CEO CIT. All of this is explained in the Corporate Profile and other information available to the general public (Investor Information Packets).
