I had a chance to hear Nacchio speak about his interest in BBFW. He stated that "BBFW has attenuation problems", and "it is too narrowband for our customer base." He said that it was good only for very small companies as it would not symmetrically scale to 1.5Mbps in a multipoint world. Has he getting us off the scent?

Also, C. Michael Armstrong stated that after cable, "fixed wireless and DSL" would be considered as access technologies. He already has fixed wireless due to his TCG acquisition, which owned BizTel. Perhaps they like it, but are waiting to close UMG before closing even more deals.

Also, FON bought ATEL for $167.8M and WCOM bought CAI for $476M. So, spectrum is suddenly "in". I think ARTT has better spectrum than these guys. Do you?
