I am not sure if the US was unaware oft Milosovic's plan to unleash the "Senega" against the Kossvars! The Sate Department and the White Hall couldn't have been that ignorant of the Serbian plan! They allowed this tragedy to take place, since they were helpless to stop it! The NATO even gave Milosovic "Nulla Osta" to proceed by announcing that there would not be a land invasion! I wonder why?
Could it be that US supposed that after a week of boming Mildsovic will give in?? If so, they made a mistake!
Milosovic thought he could play NATO into bombing Serbia, so he
could send his thugs to terroirze Kosovars to leave, so he could
make room for Serbians from Slavonia and south of Naretva! Did he think that after a week of bombing, Eurpean public opinion will force NATO to stop!! If so, he made a mistake too.
Could it be that both NATO and Serbians mis-read the situation and they have cornered themselves not knowing what to do next?
Or maybe there is a greater game is being played by the United States and Germany in Kosovo, where Milosovic and Russians be actors, and the EC are beholders!
